There is something in 3-D which makes eyewear promising, pleasurable and a thrilling experience. Panasonic, a favorite consumer brand of electronics, in partnership with XPAND 3D announced the release of a new standard for 3D-active shutter eyewear product.
This product claims to provide an increased compatibility with 3D viewing, home projectors, cinema projectors, et al. This product supports from various known brands. Brands like Changhong Electric,
FUNAI Electric, Hisense Electric, Hitachi Consumer Electronics, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Seiko Epson Corporation, SIM2 Multimedia S.P.A. and ViewSonic Corporation have also shaken hands to adopt this new 3D standard.
The technology being called as M-3DI technology and soon it will be licensed by M-3DI License Agent to enable a communication protocol between the eyewear products and the viewing mediums. After the licensing procedures, consumers will have more control on quality of product and will also unify the whole concept.
It is expected that this technology will be popular and will be welcomed by masses.
