Though it’s hard to believe that such devices are still being produced. The mobile phone and smartphone especially took a bite out of the role of MP3 players and PMPs. It is true that not all mobiles provide exceptional audio quality and that some still resort to a quality MP3 player. Cowon C2 follow in D2 and D2 + footsteps. The compact design and lack of buttons tells us that we are dealing with a touchscreen device. It has a diagonal of 2.6″ and a resolution of 320×240 pixels.
The integrated battery is claimed to last 55 hours of audio playback and 10 hours of video playback. The device comes with a video output A/V. The Cowon C2 PMP will be available in 4 GB,
8 GB or 16 GB capacities, but a microSD slot also enables you to double the memory, something that the iPod Touch won’t be able to offer.
Its pricing and release date are not yet to be announced, but the Cowon C2 will be available in white, black, gray and pink.
