Treating cancer is never easy, but treating this disease might become a lot easier than before thanks to the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.
Researchers from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan have come up with a prototype system that could change the way we treat cancer forever. Thanks to this device, we might be able to abandon chemotherapy or invasive surgery completely.
nano-magnetic particles and it raises the temperature of the tumor. When temperature is raised by this technology from 41.5°C to 46°C/107°F to 115°F the cancer cells are destroyed while normal cells are left unharmed. As for magnetic particles, in order to guide them, this system uses accurate 3D Magnetically Guiding Endoscope System.
As you can see, this device is amazing, and theoretically makes treatment of susceptible cancerous cells simpler, easier, and less painful than before. So far, we don’t know when we will see this device in hospitals, because it’s a prototype in the medical field, its likely to be subjected to plenty more scrutiny and research but we hope it will be soon.
